Restricted Company Entry Descriptions Values

Create ACH Transaction does not currently support the following restricted values and use cases for companyEntryDesc. If you pass any of these values, Galileo will reject the transaction.

Galileo may add support for these fields in the future. See Company entry descriptions for details.

Restricted values

ACCTVERIFYMicro entries (<$1 account validation).
RETRY PYMTRe-initiate debits returned for insufficient funds (R01) or uncollected funds (R09). Per Nacha rules, two re-initiation attempts may be made and must occur within 180 days of the original entry’s settlement date.
NONSETTLEDReserved exclusively for the ACH Operator. Not applicable.
REVERSALReversing files or individual entries. A reversing file or entry may only be initiated if it is erroneous (e.g. it cannot be used if an originator cannot fund the credit). The originator must also make a reasonable attempt to notify the receiver no later than the settlement date of the reversal. Per Nacha rules, a reversal must be transmitted within 24 hours of discovery and must be made available to the RDFI within five banking days following the settlement date of the erroneous entry.
RECLAIMReclaim payments or to handle specific requested returns, such as notifying an RDFI that a receiver is deceased.
HCCLAIMPMTIdentify healthcare claim payments for providers.
RETURN FEEReturned item fee. While Nacha requires this value when assessing a returned item fee via ACH, it is currently restricted.
