In July 2025 we clarified how we work with the card networks to offer tokenization services.

Token lifecycle management

We specified that Galileo partners directly with card networks like Visa and Mastercard to offer tokenization services. For Visa programs this includes token lifecycle management and the option to automatically delete mobile wallet tokens when a card has been reported as closed, lost, or stolen, ensuring immediate security.
